How to create a WhatsApp chatbot in Message2u

If your business can be answered automatically on WhatsApp, you can scale support and sales without adding headcount—Message2u connects to your WhatsApp Cloud API number to run those automations.

Prerequisites

  • WhatsApp Cloud API app and number are ready: Facebook / Meta setup.
  • Templates for outbound notifications are submitted and approved in WhatsApp Manager where required by Meta.
  • Brand profile is polished: brand profile guide.

Build in Message2u

  1. Log in to Message2u.
  2. Open the flow builder and create a new automation.
  3. Choose triggers such as keyword, conversation opened, or events your workspace supports.
  4. Add reply nodes (text, lists, buttons) compliant with WhatsApp session rules.
  5. Publish the flow and attach it to your WhatsApp channel configuration.

Go live safely

  • Pilot with an internal test number or a small customer segment.
  • Log escalations: when a flow should hand off to a human, route to a live inbox queue if available.
  • Configure WhatsApp billing / payment method so throughput is not interrupted.
